Topics include site analysis, zoning, code research, environmental and contextual conditions, project type evaluation, budgeting, feasibility, and the development of qualitative and quantitative program requirements. Candidates learn to interpret client goals, assess site and regulatory factors, and establish the foundation for design decisions that are responsive, practical, and code-conscious.
