Construction & Evaluation (CE)

The Construction & Evaluation section focuses on the architect’s role during bidding, construction, project closeout, and post-occupancy evaluation. Candidates review construction contract administration, submittals, RFIs, change orders, payment applications, site observation, contractor selection, project completion, and building performance evaluation. This section helps candidates understand how architects support the construction process, protect the client’s interests, and evaluate whether completed work meets the contract documents and project goals.
